THANK YOU for offering your time to volunteer with MHAFC!
Most of our (non-healthcare-professional) volunteer hours are spent supporting office tasks, helping at fundraising events, or distributing publicity materials among organizations around town, for example. But at any given time, there are other needs too.
At the moment, we do not have an explicit need for non-professional volunteers. However, please know that I will be keeping your application on file. When a need arises, the next step is for me to contact you and see if you are still available. Then we contact three references and have you stop by the office for a casual face-to-face meeting.
HOWEVER, If you are a licensed mental health professional, please click here for volunteer opportunities—we are always in need of your support with our Pro Bono Counseling Program.
Again, our sincere thanks for your willingness to offer your time to us. We are grateful and humbled. I’d be remiss not to add that we are membership driven—please consider becoming a member or donating at any level via mhafc.org/donate. Every amount makes a difference!
Feel free to contact me with any questions. It will also be helpful to visit our website at mhafc.org regularly.
All our best,
