MHAFC provides workplace and community educational programs for employers, employees and community members to learn about mental health related topics.
MHAFC attends a variety of health fairs where we provide information on our various programs, support groups and community resources.
We have the ability to offer tailored educational programs based on the needs of your organization or group. Below are examples of presentations we’ve done in the past:
- MHAFC: Who we are and what we do
- Depression in the Workplace (for employers or employees)
- The myths of mental illness
- Managing work-life balance
Mental Health Screenings
Aside from offering our online mental health screening, MHAFC can also provide in-person screenings at events.
Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that gives people the skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it builds mental health literacy, helping the public identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness.
Please email Tonya Fulwider, Program Director, or call 614-221-1441 x 104 for more information about any of our educational offerings.
Workplace Wellbeing Program
We’ve developed a program to assess the health of organizations and businesses and how it affects employee wellbeing. Learn more.
